Killer Whales Swim Team Registration

Registration for the Ford’s Colony Youth swim team is here.  Don’t forget to visit the website  http://fordscolonyswimteam.com/ for Release of Liability, Emergency, and Registration forms.

Where: Swim and Tennis Club

 The goal of the swim team is to offer all young people in Ford’s Colony 18 years and younger the opportunity to learn new and improve existing swimming skills, enhance community spirit by meeting and socializing with other Ford’s Colony children, teach and encourage sportsmanship and create a fun filled yet competitive summer swim experience for each participate and their families.

Killer Whales Swim Team Registration coming up!

Ford's Colony Killer Whales Swim Team

The Killer Whales Ford’s Colony Swim Team is holding registration on April 21, 2013 from 4:00-6:00pm at the Swim and Tennis Club.  All Ford’s Colony young people 18 years old and younger are encouraged to join for a chance to improve their swimming skills and have great fellowship with their peers. This is the perfect opportunity for parents to meet coaches, ask questions, and get a feel for what the Killer Whales are all about!

Cast your vote in the upcoming 2013 Elections for Ford’s Colony Home Owner’s Association Board of Directors.  Good leadership and representation is vital in our community, so don’t wait until the last minute. Vote today!

Voting online is simple: just visit this link: Ford’s Colony eballot. Log on with your userID and password (found on your Janurary quarterly homeowner’s assessment bill). Then vote for at least one but not more than 4 candidates.

Don’t Forget: “A Christmas Carol” performance

This Tuesday, don’t forget to bring your chairs and blankets for a wonderful winter evening under the stars with Ford’s Colony’s own Theater Club production of “A Christmas Carol.” This new version of the classic tale will feature Master Thespian Ed Whitacre. Created by Mark Lerman, this version incorporates many suggestions from the audience from previous years’ performances.

Hosted by the 25th Anniversary Committee, this is sure to be a memorable start to the Christmas season!

Celebrating this wonderful season of Christmas, the Theatre Club of Ford’s Colony and the 25th Anniversary Committee is hosting a production of “A Christmas Carol.” This new version of the classic play reflects suggestions from fans of previous performances, created by Mark Lerman and starring Master Thespian, Ed Whitacre.

Swim Team Fundraiser

Shop to support the swim team! The 2nd Annual Fundraiser for the Ford’s Colony Killer Whales swim team will be held this coming Sunday. New and familiar vendors will be there, presenting their wares while you enjoy wine and appetizers.  The swim team is largely supported by this fundraiser, so why not finish all your Christmas shopping in one afternoon and keep our Killer Whales swimming!

Theater Club Hootenanny!

Come one, come all to a real live, bona fide Hootenanny! Hosted by the Theater Club and Dance Club of Ford’s Colony, this event promises to be a cracking good time! Featured entertainment will include Greg Davey of Three Jolly Coachmen accompanying a group of dancers from the Ford’s Colony Dance Club.  Just sit back and enjoy the dancin’ and fine music or join in! Lessons on the latest new fangled steps will help you get your toes tapping!
