On Friday, October 10 at 7:30 PM, the Theatre Club will present “Let’s Talk About Love”, a cabaret – style musical revue contemplating love “in all its infinite varieties. The show will feature songs by Gershwin, Porter, Sondheim and more. Vocals, piano and cello by Dick and Ellie Wintercorn and producer, Cindy King.
Membership fee of $10. (Membership allows admittance to the remaining shows for free!) Non members’ fee is $5 per show. Productions are open to all residents.

The Ford’s Colony Mixed Bowling League’s season starts on November 3 for Monday bowlers and November 4 for Tuesday bowlers. For those men and women who are new to the League, we welcome all skill levels. We have two Divisions within the League. The American Division bowls on Monday afternoons and the National on Tuesday afternoons at the Bowlmor AMF at 5545 Olde Towne Road in Williamsburg.
Our season is 19 weeks long with time off for the winter holidays. This year’s annual dues will be $285 per person—only $15 per week. The dues include the 19-week lineage fees, shoes, ball, prizes, minimal League expenses, and the annual awards banquet held at the conclusion of the season. Optional payment plans are available.

Wednesday, September 24th, 9 – 11 a.m. at S&T Club
Our pickleballers will begin their inaugural season on Wednesday, September 24, playing from 9 to 11 a.m. on Courts 3 and 4 at the Swim & Tennis Club. Play will be scheduled again on Friday at the same time and place. This will be the weekly pattern for a while. Want to try it? Just show up at the appointed time in rubber-soled shoes. Mixed doubles will be played – 4 players per game without regard to gender, ability, height, etc. If you have a PB paddle, please bring it. If not, they will lend you one when you’re up. Opening the Theatre Club season will be “Love Letters”, a dramady by A.R. Guerney. Marsha Allen and Dan Bjick will perform this view into the lives of two school friends through their correspondence of 50 years in their sometimes rocky friendship. Previously performed by over 200 actors, it remains just as current today with its “coming of age” theme. Some of the performers included: Blythe Danner and John Rubenstein, Robert Wagner with Jill St. John and Coleen Dewhurst., George Hearn, Elaine Strich and (in the film), Laura Linney and Steven Weber.
Membership fees of $10 for 2014-2015 will be taken before the show, so all those joining will be admitted to all shows for free. Non members will be charged $5 for each show. (Yes, you can save $40 by joining now!)
