23 Ford’s Colony homes closed in 1st quarter

Deelyn’s Ford’s Colony Market Watch newsletter for the first quarter is out. And the numbers show that 23 homes (including townhomes and condos) have closed year-to-date.

As of April 15, there were 76 active listings in Ford’s Colony, with average months supply of inventory at 6.3. The average sold price – $483,789 – was 91.8 percent of the original list price.

Average price per square foot of homes closed was $140. The average days on the market for homes under contract was 88.2.

Krick is club’s new director of operations

Mike Krick has been promoted to Director of Operations for Ford’s Colony Country Club. Mike spent the previous three years as Director of Golf for Ford’s Colony after arriving from a club in North Carolina. Mike originally worked at Ford’s Colony in the early ’90s.Krick

In an email to members, Krick announced his plans and goals for 2019. They include organizing monthly focus groups to identify challenges, advanced training for employees and improved communication regarding news, events and capital projects.

Improved golf-course conditions are on that list of capital projects. Krick wrote Blue Heron has already had new irrigation installed and the driving range has been outfitted with new turf and better drainage, and that a fleet of new golf carts has been put into use.
